Hello Mr Policeman.

To all readers,

I will like to highlight this predictment of the mentality of the public in Malaysia. When the police patrol your houses, do you wave and acknowledge at them. When they patrol your houses under the hot sun, do you offer them drinks? No, you don't care and their visibility is ignored completely. But when you need them, you want them to appear within seconds.

Why can't all of us begin to acknowledge their presence and make their presence in your community welcome. Make friends with them to let them understand your community better and they know who are the occupants residing in the houses as they can easily identify strangers.

Lets work together for a safer community.

Hi Kuan, sadly to say, most of the people here are afraid of police - afraid of being arrested for unknown reason, or maybe under ISA, or afraid being asked for money, and probably disappointed with corruption, inefficiency, being politician's puppets, being guard for VIPs to cause more traffic problem in the town.

we, as general public, frankly speaking, really want to be friend with police. However, we don't know how many police is good police, who are the good, clean and caring police, so based on our past bad experience, we rather stay away from police if nothing serious happen.
